Early development plans for Palm Beach Shores show it to be very much as it appears today. The town’s beautiful arboretum and butterfly garden are a source of pride to residents; in fact, Palm Beach Shores has been designated a Tree City, U.S.A. Holidays are particularly important to the neighborhood, and the town enjoys celebrations throughout the year, in addition to other events regularly planned and staged by the town, many of them thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers.
There are no schools in the town, but residents are served by the School District of Palm Beach County. Palm Beach Shores is just a 20 minute ride to Palm Beach International Airport, and the many amenities and entertainments of nearby West Palm Beach, North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, where shopping and dining choices are both eclectic and numerous.
